1. INT. MAX'S LIVINGROOM - EVENING
There sit two young guys. They sit on the couch watching
TV. The TV is showing clips of Dave Chappelle.
One guy is white and one is mexican.
The white guy is MAX. Max is a very laid back kind of guy.
He's nice and well kept to himself. Max is very indiffrent.
The other guy, the mexican one is EVAN.
Evan is a shy person. He's real kept to himself also.
EVAN:( VO)
This is where i first met her.
MAX:
So yeah, hey, did i tell you what my ex did?
EVAN:
Which one, Ann?
MAX:
yeah, her. Well, it's crazy cause like, we broke up right.
EVAN:
Yeah, i guess.
MAX:
So she got all mad and burned my favorite
yankee's cap. And not just any one but the one
from New york, New york that i bought.
EVAN:
oh, no way.
MAX:
Yeah, she burned it in her bathroom.
In the tub. I miss it. She put a video on the net of
her burning it.
EVAN:
Oh shit, fuck... that sucks.
MAX:
yeah, it's subtitle said " Break up with your girlfriend,
you might lose your favorite hat."
EVAN:
Oh that sucks. She doesn't seem like she'd do that though.
MAX:
yeah, she's pyscho. Oh yeah, i put a comment on the video
saying " Yeah, burn his hat and he'll burn your heart."
EVAN: ( laughing)
Ouch...That's crazy.
So are you ok?
MAX:
Yeah, it's just memories that i had with that hat. I mean,
and what made me mad was there was nothing she
could do to take it back. That fuckin' hat meant a lot to me.
And then she had the nerve to tell me to get over it.
The way i see it, my hat was more important then our
relationship. I mean, she told me she missed me and stufff
and i told her " You get over that." If i have to get over my hat,
then you get over our pointless and waste-of-a-time relationship
...bitch.
EVAN:
That's kind of mean.
Just then the door bell RINGS.
EVAN:
I'll get it.
Evan gets up and goes over to the door but is not
paying much attention as he still has he's
eyes glued to the TV.
MAX: ( OS)
I mean, she deserves it to be done to her.
Evan reaches the door but once he pulls on it it
opens which hits him in the face.
He falls to the floor.
CUT TO BLACK:
