Door 2 The Floor scene

6. EXT. ENTRANCE OF SCHOOL - EVENING

There waiting to enter are EVAN and this BlONDE GIRL in the crowd.
They talk among themselves as the crowd and music goes on.
They are waiting for the school festival to start. There is a lot
of comotion but they still stand out above all.

Evan:
So yeah, i did that for a while.

Blonde Girl:
That's cool. So how much longer?

Evan:
Not to long i hope.

Evan looks around the area. He spots people he used to know
and looks away.

Evan:
Yeah, not to long.

In the distance a voice is heard but then it gets louder.

Jessica:
Evan!Evan!EVAN!

Evan then looks in front of him and in the distance
as he spots Jessica. The doors then open for people
to come in as the crowd moves fast inside.
Evan walks over to Jessica as they are now alone.

Jessica:
How could you? You lied to me.

Evan:
I didn't mean too.

Jessica:
But you promised, you asshole.

Evan:
What do you want from me? I'm here!

Jessica:
I wanted your love, your heart but since
i'm not good enough-

Evan:
You just -quiet. I never said that.

Jessica:
You wanted her though.

Jessica points to a BLONDE GIRL in the distance standing next
to the entrance waiting for Evan.

Evan:
No, she's just a friend.

Jessica:
Oh yeah, i heard thats what they call
them these days. Friends. I hate you.

Evan hugs Jessica.

Evan:
I'm sorry. Ok, it wasn't supposed to be like this.Not here.

Jessica:
but it is. You lied to me. You hurt me.

Evan looks into her eyes.

Evan:
I'm asking for mercy.

Jessica:
Mercy comes to the poor.
Your not poor.

Evan:
In love i am. Just hold on. Just don't give up on me.
That's all i ask. Don't run from me. Don't hate me.
Don't do this. Remember what i told you at the gecko,
I'm wierd, i get bored. But don't give up on me.

Jessica lets go and walks away as Evan watches her leave.
He then begins to walk back to the BLONDE GIRL.
But as he does that Jessica looks back at him, then walks into
the distance.

Evan gets up to the Blonde Girl. He then gets money from his pocket
and hands it to her.

Evan:
Thanks.

Blonde Girl:
Did she get mad? Was it believable?

Evan:
Yeah, she got mad. And why wouldn't it look
believable?

Blonde Girl:
Come on sweetheart, think about it.
A girl like me with a guy like you.
( she laughes)
Your cute though. Just fix your hair.

The Blonde Girl then walks away into the building.
Evan stands outside alone. He looks at the door then
he turns around and looks into the distance.
